We use Starlink satellite internet. It is fast enough for video calls, screen sharing, and large file transfers. It does not depend on local infrastructure, so it is stable even when the rest of Mazunte has connectivity issues.

The apartments were engineered for tropical thermal comfort. Double-brick walls with an air gap, deep overhangs that block direct sun, cross-ventilation, and high ceilings keep the interior noticeably cooler than outside. Most guests find it comfortable for a full workday without air conditioning. Every room also has ceiling fans and portable fans.

You probably will not need one, since the in-apartment workstations are better than most co-working spaces. But if you want a change of scenery, there are a few cafes and co-working spots in Mazunte within walking distance.

We recommend stays of two weeks or longer, since the apartments are designed for people who want to settle in. Shorter stays are available when the calendar allows.

Yes. Every apartment has a full kitchen: stove, oven, fridge, Nespresso machine, knives, spices, cookware, and handmade Oaxacan ceramic plates and cups. There is a local market, a Sunday organic market, and we can arrange grocery shopping or a private chef.

Mazunte has fewer mosquitos than you might expect, especially during the dry season (November through May). The apartments have screens, and the elevated position and breeze help. We provide mosquito repellent as part of the welcome kit.

Huatulco airport (HUX) is about an hour away. Puerto Escondido (PXM) is about 1.5 hours. We can arrange a trusted driver, or you can take local colectivos (shared pickup trucks) for a fraction of the cost. We send detailed directions before your arrival.

Mazunte is a small, close-knit community with very low crime. Casa Maradi has smart locks on every apartment and a safe for valuables in each unit. We are always reachable by WhatsApp if you need anything.
